Nice Days

I had a nice weekend, or should I say Sunday and Monday. Yesterday I spent most of it at church getting ready for the trip. We went over our itinerary, and packing needs. I am in charge of shampoo/conditioner for the group, imagine that! It is going to be such an experience, I am so looking forward to it. There will be a women's conference there on Sat/Sun. They are expecting about 300 women from Haiti and DR to be there. They want us to bring out swimming suits because at the place is a pool and the ladies would have a blast if we swam with them, so I'm taking my beach ball and flamingo from Hawaiian Day, I think they will like that. I signed up for devotion on the Thursday, pray that God gives me a direction into what I'm supposed to be speaking about, something that will touch at least one person there. I am just more aware about my trip and am getting prepared. Yeah!

Today Leah and the men came and visited me. It turned out to be a whole lot of fun. Lucas says Thank you to everything, it's more like Tank you....but it still means the same. We walked them to Borders for books and had a picnic in my living room and took them grocery shopping. They are just amazing, they make my soul fill up with joy/peace/love. Everything needed to make life great! I ate dinner with two amazing friends from church. I have been so blessed/honored to be a part of their group. I love these guys so much!

I skipped out on a school function tonight. I have been so involved with them these past few weeks, I just needed one full day to not be there or think of it. I still had to stop there and get my kit. I love it I just needed my weekend to be me.
