nothing really new

So nothing new to really report, but here's what's been going on the last month.

I started to teach in a new area. I am the Core teacher now for the new Future Professionals for the first 6 weeks. They get to learn all the basics and then move on to the more exciting stuff, like working on real people. I am having a blast, really enjoying the girls and watching them grow. As a staff we are preparing to certify in styling and finishing. So every morning this week we have been running through our lessons and styling doll heads. It's a great thing to have, it's just having the extra time to practice. I will post the good news after Thursday, definitely will be a PASS!! After that I get to prepare for the many trips ahead.....Vegas in July, Connecticut in August and Houston in September. All for some type of training. I just can't believe it's almost here. Sometimes it's the anticipation that is the best....then the moment comes and nerves hit. But I love to travel, I love to fly and I love to learn from the best so why not!!

The boys are getting so big. We went to the pool the other day. Lucas is very much a loner. He plays by himself and does his own thing (hmmm...is his aunts personality rubbing off on him!?) Ethan is more of a people guy, wanting to sit on you or try to lay in the water and say I swimmin, I swimmin. They just couldn't be any better. I am so blessed to have them in my life. It's like what did we do before they were here. Now when we get together we have something to do....before were we just boring or what?? I will get to see them on the 4th and they are coming for a visit on Monday to the pool just down the street from me. There is a small kids slide and a dolphin that spits water, can't wait to see their reaction!!

My life outside of work and family is going good. I have this great group of friends. I have been enjoying Matt and Craig's process on there new old house. It's got such amazing structural designs and such a story. From when it was built to now. Small groups are going good. I just read the book of James and was totally blown away. If there was a book just for me in the Bible that would be it. I think I hi-lited almost everything. Read it!!

Well enjoy the 4th and celebrate our Independence. It's such a great thing to have, don't take it for granted!
